Alright, this is the second pub crawl we have put on our calendar. Now, I wasn't able to attend the first one in 2009; but those who did attend, said it was a blast. The photos they took proved that. I'm jealous, and have been waiting for months for the next Pub Crawl. It's finally here! So, please join us and attend the Riverfront Pub Crawl in Montgomery. It's only $10, and from what I've heard the vendors/venues offer really great deals on food, etc while you're crawling :) More info will be available the closer it gets to the event. You are responsible for purchasing your tickets. You can either get them in advance or pay the day of the crawl. Also, the actual pub crawl is slated to start at 6pm. I scheduled 5:45 for us to meet up, so we can all get together before heading out. But you can also come later. If you have a ticket, just join us while we are "en route." If you haven't been to a GNO event, this is a great opportunity to get out and meet us while we walk the streets of Montgomery.. Please be responsible and plan ahead for your ride home. If anyone wants to volunteer to be a DD, that is also very welcome. Drinking is always optional, never mandatory :)

We are meeting on Monday nights and planning to meet every two weeks. If the group grows and people are interested in learning more quickly, we could meet weekly. We are using the Genki I Textbook and workbook. You can find this text online or contact the organizer for information on obtaining a copy. The main part of our location is a martial arts dojo, they have asked us to please remove our shoes to help keep the floors clean. If everyone could donate a dollar it would help me pay for the meetup site and dojo utilities, but this is completely optional. This is a bit more of an issue over the summer as air-conditioning is expensive to operate.

MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) at Riverchase Community Church "Easter Story" meeting at 6:30-8:30 p.m. MOPS is for expecting Mothers thru to Mothers with preschoolers, and we offer friendship, support, guest speakers, discussions, food, crafts, fun and child-free time (RSVP child care with Patricia 824-4459).
Girls Night In: Rachel is hosting a game night! We love game nights! They are the perfect way to relax and enjoy an evening with the girls, while getting to know each other better. Please bring your favorite board game, favorite drink be it wine or tea, and if you want bring a snack/dessert/cheese too. If you haven't made it to an event yet, game nights are perfect for getting meet everyone. It's a comfortable and relaxed environment. Plus, there is plenty to do; so lulls in the night are unheard of at game nights. Since, it's a game night you don't have to dress to impress, unless you really want to put on a cocktail dress :) More info and direction details will be given at a later time. So, remember to check back closer to the date. Just to remind you, please keep your Meetup RSVP up to date. If you are unsure, please select Maybe. We completely understand that things come up. Yet, if you RSVP'd yes and are unable to make it, please do your best to let us/the host know before the event. Remember we do have the 3 strikes policy :(
