Charlie Hall and his band will be at Taylor Road Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL on Friday August 6, 2010!
If your familiar with the Passion conferences, then you've heard Charlie Hall before. His most recent track was featured on the Passion Band CD for 2010: Awakenings called "King of Heaven (Isaiah 61)".
You might also recognize other songs such as "Marvelous Light" or "Center".
Before Charlie takes to the stage we will be featuring a new band that will also be leading us in worship, "The Refuge Band". They have been around the Montgomery area for three years leading worship for camps, and services and are very excited about getting to kick the evening off before Charlie takes the stage.
It's going to be a great night of worship that will hopefully get our hearts right and ready for a return to school.

Ms. Sharleen Smith, PMP, will speak at the August 12, 2010 PMI Montgomery,AL Chapter dinner meeting. Ms. Smith will be speaking about 'Cultural Competency'.
Cultural Competency
We have all attended diversity seminars and left with an awareness of differences. However, it is quite rare that we walk away with any useful tool to actually use when a "diverse" situation arises. We may get back to the office and encounter another situation dealing with "culture" and ask, "So what do I do now?" The August 12th dinner event will provide a practical application to use in each situation. The F.A.I.R. Approach. Knowing how to handle situations involving yourself or employees will equip you to be a better leader, co-worker, employee and consultant. We will look at unique ways in which diversity may present itself – more than sex, race and age. Come enjoy the informational yet humorous presentation on Cultural Competency.
Sharleen Smith, Associate Director of AUM's Alabama Training Institute, delivers a educational yet humor filled presentation. For over 26 years, her goal with any audience is to help people to reach their greatest potential.
